Hello,and Welcome!
Thanks for stopping by today. Solid Rock Cruisers Car Club is a Not For Profit Organization, incorporated in the State of Washington. We combine a love for classic cars with a desire for fellowship in Jesus Christ. We also serve as an outreach to those who have not heard of God's love, and regularly attend automotive events to spread the Gospel. We are a family-based club, open to anyone--regardless of age or gender--with an interest in classic cars and trucks. Classic car ownership is not required, and your interest in Classic Cars is most welcome!

As a christian car club with many goals for the year 2010, including our SRC Cruise-in car show near the end of the month of June. We use the proceeds from the car show to support various ministries. The following are four of the many from past years.

VINE MAPLE PLACE of KENT WA.
This ministry brings hope, help and housing to homeless single mothers and their children. They provide safe transitional housing, professional case management, trained mentors, family support teams, child advocacy, access to educational and vocational training. They also give life skills training that includes: money management, parenting skills, goal achievement, and healthy relationships. Through loving fellowship and then sharing the love of Christ these women and their children will be able to move out of their circumstances. If you would like to help them they can use your financial help or volunteering of time and skills or even donating house hold items, especially consumables, in new or excellent condition. You can reach them on the Internet at www.vinemapleplace.org.

HIGHLINE CHRISTIAN CHURCH YOUTH MEXICO MISSION TEAM of Bruien, WA.
They are made up of the youth of the church, along with a number of adult chaperones. In 2006, the group of 18 youth and adults left Highline Christian Church and traveled to Southern California to attend CIY (Christ in Youth). Also, another group of 18 traveled to San Diego to meet the first team. The teams joined together and traveled to Ensenada, Mexico, for a short-term mission, returning to Seattle at the end of July. While there, the team intended to construct a home, host vacation bible school, and run a vision clinic. All of this will be done through YUGO ministries. Last year, they had their own version of extreme home makeover for a woman and her daughter. Their home went from a 6 foot x 8 foot shack to a real house. The tears flowed freely on all sides when the youth passed the keys to the house to their delighted and grateful new homeowners. These pictures show how much work goes into these houses and the difference they make. These trips changed lives on both sides of the border forever and glorify the Lord. And Solid Rock Cruisers played a part by providing an opportunity for the youth to sell coffee, breakfast goodies, and pieces of pie to raise funds to go to Mexico for this very important work. You can reach them on the Internet at www.highlinechristian.org.

ACTION INTERNATIONAL IN GULU, UGANDA

Solid Rock Cruisers' Christian Beliefs

We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins.

We also believe that The Holy Bible is a sacred and blessed document that not only chronicles the life and times of Jesus, but also gives us a template by which to live our lives.
Fellowship, Evangelism, and Discipleship -- Our goal is to share with all people in fellowship, wisdom and knowledge our common interests in classic cars; to share and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ with honesty and a compassionate attitude.  Psalm 19:14 sums up our beliefs well - "May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer."

Did You Know?

Everyone is a sinner, even Christians. Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."  That means everyone.  We're human and we make mistakes.  But even so, God loves us because He made us.
We are all condemned to eternal death in Hell. Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."  Tough words, but worth considering.
But God has a plan for us. Romans 5:8 says "But God demonstrates his own love for us, in this, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."  God's plan always makes sense with time, faith, and prayer.
Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Acts 4:12 says "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
If we make Christ the Lord of our lives, we will receive eternal life. Romans 10:9 says "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

What do we have to do to receive eternal life?

Pray a simple prayer, telling Jesus Christ that you believe He is God's Son, that He died for your sin and rose again on the third day, alive. Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and become the Lord of your life. Please contact one of the club officers if you would like to find a good Bible believing church in your area, where you can grow as a Christian.

2013 SOLID ROCK CRUISERs "Cruise to the Park" Car Show
Our next "CRUISE TO THE PARK" Car SHOW is in Covington WA on JUNE 15th of 2013. More info later.

On June 23, 2012, the Solid Rock Cruisers Christians Car Club hosted its Charity Car Show “Cruise to the Park” at Covington Christian Fellowship Church at 26201 180th Ave SE in Covington, WA. The beneficiary of our 2012 car show was Vine Maple Place. This charity has a special meaning to our members. Last year everyone had a marvelous time viewing the cars and visiting the many booths. Our show has become a great success for everyone involved from the car guys and spectators to various sponsors from the Puget Sound area. Every year we wish for our event to grow. First, by having more businesses becoming sponsors of the show. Second, by having more publicity so more cars will be on display. Third, by getting the word out about this family oriented event.
CLICK HERE to download the sponsor form for 2013.
Please review this information and determine how you are able to help us in 2013. Please return the Sponsorship Form together with your check payable to Solid Rock Cruisers to your SRC contact person or mail to address provided.

For more information about Solid Rock Cruisers and our charities we support, sponsorship, donating of items for our Door Prizes, Raffle Prizes and/or Goodie Bags or other opportunities through this event, please contact the Car Show Chairman, John Schaaf.
On behalf of the Solid Rock Cruisers and our charity, thank you in advance for any assistance you can give us for our 10th Annual Charity Car Show “Cruise to the Park’. When you are there, say "Hi" to one of the club members helping with the show and share a car story.
